Nencho Bakalski was born in 1963 in Stara Zagora. He lives and works in his native town, creating paintings, portraits, aquarelles, design and avant-garde. He’s a member of the Artist’s Association “GAMA”, Non-profit organization “HEROSS”, "The Club of the cultural figures", Stara Zagora, the "International Academy for multilateral integrated personality”. He’s also a representative of the Union of Bulgarian artists for Stara Zagora.
Participation in joint exhibitions: Since 1987 - exhibits in Stara Zagora, Radnevo, Sofia, Plovdiv, Pleven, Nesebar, Haskovo, Varna. Participations in the 12th and 13th International Biennale in Gabrovo. 1998 and 1999 "Nude” – gallery “Vazrazhdane” and “Balabanova kashta” in Plovdiv. 2000 - Participation in the National Exhibition of the artists from South Bulgaria. 2002 - National Exhibition in Pleven; Exhibition of the artists from Stara Zagora in Burgas. 2003 - National exhibition of small sized paintings in Sofia (Shipka 6) and Pleven. 2004 - National exhibition "Friends of the Sea" Burgas; National exhibition small sized paintings in Pleven. Yearly participations in the Autumn Hall - Stara Zagora.
